Experience integrating assets for a game with player character customization is a big plus - the larger in scope the better, especially slot based customization. If you have experience with Custom IK and ragdoll solutions or Unity’s new “Animation Rigging” package we'd love to hear more about it. Perhaps the most unique aspect of the game is its detailed Sprite pet system. You'll help the art team design and optimize assets, determine the best ways to split up files for character customization (clothing, base character, animations in same or multiple FBX) and advise on how best to UV map character model and masks for universal texture compatibility. You will work closely with the art team helping determine the best way to work within technical constraints and achieve the visual goals of the art direction. You would be familiar with working with shaders/materials, Unity’s animations controller system (animation layers, overrides, manipulating animation time, etc), importing and configuring FBX for various uses: rig (understand limitations of humanoid vs generic), animation (cutting up animations in unity to make versatile anim state machines), and importing new versions of FBX in a non-destructive way. The BitCraft Online team is growing and looking for an intermediate to senior level Unity Developer with professional experience integrating art assets into a AA+ game.
